About Us
Intruder was founded in 2015 with the goal to help companies of all sizes prevent costly cyber attacks. We’ve been very successful, now a team of 30, have raised $1.2m, and have quickly become profitable. We're growing fast, over 1,500 customers from around the world love our product. Our SaaS platform helps companies easily identify their cyber security weaknesses, and fix them, before they get hacked.
This is an exciting time to join Intruder; we’re growing our team, and are expanding the capabilities of our product dramatically. Our customers already love us, we have strong conversion and retention, and are keen to expand up-market into larger deal sizes. To date we’re been almost exclusively product-led, but have recently added a sales-led motion. Demand for Intruder is widespread, we have customers in over 50 countries and nearly 40% of our revenue from the US, with no staff there.
We’re hiring our first VP Marketing. This is an important role; much of our business is generated through digital marketing today and you’ll be responsible for helping drive considerable growth in the team and its output.
About the role
You’ll take on our existing marketing team and expand it, maturing the organisation. You’ll lead organisational design for marketing, and influence hiring in surrounding teams. You’ll be part of our leadership team, working with your peers to help Intruder grow across many fronts.
The right candidate will be highly willing to be hands-on, highly ambitious, and will enjoy the process of scaling a growing business. Our targets are ambitious - we’re aiming to triple revenue in 2022 and you’ll be hungry to drive that growth.
We expect the right candidate to demonstrate a complete command of marketing across multiple channels, and be involved in the day-to-day while they hire around them to create the right team.
You’ll be strongly supported by the CEO, able to grow the team, select geographies for growth, and evaluate and execute strategies, as you see fit.
You’ll be highly involved in creating a sales-led go-to-market. You’ll actively work with customers, learn what works and institutionalise those learnings into web and sales materials.
